Hello all,
I've read lots of wonderful things about how Matcha powder works wonders for diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, hangnails, warts and scurvy. (I added the last part myself )
Most of the articles were put out by tea companys or selling supplements so I take it all with a grain of salt.
However, I have noticed that when I drink Matcha in the mornings, my bg tends to be lower during the day. I have no real scientific evidence, but it's happened often enough for me to notice. I drink it because I like it. It's one of those things people either love or hate.
I make it using Matcha powder, unsweetened soy milk and sugar free vanilla. Either hot or iced. Beware - the Starbucks green tea latte Matcha powder is about 50% sugar.
Does anyone else drink Matcha? Have you noticed a difference or is it just my wishful thinking?
Thanks
